Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. It's scary to think that you could be with someone for two full years, and not really know them. Part of being in a beautiful and healthy relationship is being vulnerable. If someone is unable to do that, showing you part of themselves they don't like to expose or that they're ashamed of, it could be a red flag. There could be some deep, dark secrets you don't want to know about, or they're incapable of forming intimate bonds. 

In this Reddit thread, it's unclear why this woman has hid her true personality so well. She was one person for two years with her partner, and as soon as they become engaged, she changes drastically. He tries to reconcile with her, to see her for the person he thought she was, but time and time again she shows him the real her. She's narcissistic, rude, demeaning, and disrespectful. When confronted about her actions towards him, she pleads the fifth. It's the nail in the coffin to their relationship.
